Big deal for commercial vehicles by Tata Motors, will deliver 1,300 heavy vehicles

India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors has bagged an order for 1,300 commercial vehicles from VRL Logistics Ltd. VRL Logistics is looking to expand its logistics chain in India to include both large and small vehicles. The order includes Tata Motors’ medium and heavy commercial vehicle and intermediate and light commercial vehicle range of vehicles that are suitable for the company’s logistics operations across India. The vehicles were selected on the basis of superior commutability, high fuel efficiency and low total cost of ownership, which will enable VRL Logistics Ltd.

Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles have been designed and engineered on the ‘Power of 6’ design philosophy, offering best-in-class driveability, total cost of operation, comfort and convenience and connectivity.
