Players of Battlegrounds Mobile India are unable to login to the game. This was first reported on December 29. The game’s developer, Crafton, has also acknowledged that users are having trouble logging in and the company is working to resolve the issue. However, this problem only BGMI may affect a subset of users. Crafton has not yet told what caused this problem.
Crafton made a post on the game’s website that it had identified problems with some players’ logins since 9:00 am IST on Wednesday. When users were logging in, they were seeing an error message that they failed to login. Users have shared screenshots of failing to login to the game.
Not all users are facing this problem. Crafton says, “We are constantly getting to the bottom of this issue but it is taking time. We will immediately give players a notice once the cause of the problem is detected or fixed.” BGMI gamers are not the only ones affected by the downtime. Before that Fortnite was also down.
Apart from this, Crafton is going to ban players cheating in the popular battle royale game. Under this policy, only the device from which players are cheating will be banned. Crafton will ban devices that allow software to deceive gamers.
