Xiaomi has officially announced that the stocks of the popular Redmi K50 Extreme Edition smartphones have been replenished. Buyers in China have access to all versions with 8/128, 8/256, 12/256 and 12/512 GB for $430, $450, $490 and $535, respectively.
The smartphone went on sale on August 16, sales exceeded 120,000 units within 5 minutes of the first sale. All versions quickly sold out, they could not be purchased for a long time. In this regard, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, said that he would personally control the increase in production rates and the early appearance of smartphones in stores.
The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition features a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution screen with 446 ppi, which is comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 458 ppi screen. The screen supports Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch screen sampling rate.
The main camera is 108MP (Samsung HM6) and the phone supports 120W fast wired charging.
