Maruti Alto 800 and K10
Maruti Suzuki sells two cars with the name Alto, which are the Alto 800 and Alto K10. Of these two, Alto’s 10 is more updated. It also gets more features and the engine also gets bigger. However, it also costs more than the Alto 800. The Alto 800 price starts at Rs 3.39 lakh while the Alto K10 price starts at Rs 3.99 lakh ( X-Shoreoom, Delhi ). CNG option is also found in both. CNG gets more than 30 mileage. The Alto 800 comes with the very first CNG kit but the Alto K10 has recently been launched with the CNG kit.
Renault KWID
French automaker Reno has entry level hatchback quid in India. Its initial price is Rs 4.64 lakh. It gets two engine options – 0.8 liters of petrol ( 54PS power and 72Nm torque ) and 1.0 liters of petrol ( 68PS power and 91Nm torque ). Both engines get a 5-speed manual gearbox standard while the larger engine also gets the option of automatic transmission. It gets 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system ( Android Auto and Apple CarPlay ), keyless entry, electric ORVM’s, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensor ( Standard ). It also offers good mileage.
Maruti Eeco
If the most economical 7-seater car is talked about, the Maruti Echo will be named first. It is available in both 5 seater and 7 seater configurations, with an initial price of Rs 4.63 lakh and Rs 4.92 lakh respectively. It gets 1.2 liters of natural aspirated petrol engine ( 73PS power and 98Nm torque ). CNG mode gives it just 63PS power output. Its mileage on CNG is around 20KM. It gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD.
