Just before Holi, on Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath distributed subsidy of Rs 1890 crore to the gas cylinder refill to 1.86 crore eligible families of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The Chief Minister said that this time Holi and Ramadan are together, then all people will get the benefit of this scheme.

According to the news of the news agency, the CM recalled the old days and said that earlier a gas connection had to be given a bribe of 25-30 thousand rupees and cylinders could not be found on the festivals. He insisted that this scheme has been started to protect poor mothers from smoke and no one is being discriminated against.

CM mentions UP’s progress and Mahakumbh

The Chief Minister said that UP was once a sick state, but today has become the second largest economy in the country. Apart from this, by 2027, India will become the third major economy. Referring to the recently concluded Maha Kumbh, he said that more than 66 crore 30 lakh people participated in it, which shows the power of UP. He said that the collectivity that officers and employees of all departments of the state demonstrated in Mahakumbh have made a good perception about the state.

Chief Minister appeals

The Chief Minister appealed that those who have not registered themselves for the Ujjwala scheme, should register themselves. He appealed to everyone to celebrate Holi peacefully. At the end of the program, the Chief Minister took photographs with the beneficiaries and officials of gas provider companies.

Many schemes are running for daughters and farmers too

CM Yogi said that assistance of Rs 1 lakh will be given for the marriage of daughters. At the same time, after the results of board examinations, the meritorious daughters will also be provided residential facilities in the name of scooty and working women in the name of Ahilyabai Holkar. At the same time, the purchase rate of wheat for farmers has been increased by Rs 150 to Rs 2425 per quintal.

Symbolic check assigned to 10 beneficiaries

In the program, the Chief Minister provided symbolic checks to 10 beneficiaries. These included Mamta Mishra, Rampata, Rahanuma Begum, Rubina, Shweta Singh, Rupa, Sonam Shukla, Gudiya, Mamta and Shikha Gautam. On this occasion, one video related to Ujjwala Yojana and Maha Kumbh was also displayed.
