Mustard is 20% cheaper than last year

Government ban on making refined from mustard
Sources said that due to the cost of imported oils, a large quantity of refined is being made from mustard, due to which the government will have to be alert about the problems coming ahead with mustard. Apart from getting the government to purchase mustard by government procurement agencies, it should be banned from making refined.

Government should focus on oil production
Sources said that the prices of oilseeds like soybean, mustard, palmolein, groundnut, cottonseed and CPO closed with firmness on the back of pick-up in overseas and local demand. He said that the government will have to pay full attention to increase the production of oilseeds in the country.
