Before booking Mahindra’s SUV, know how much is waiting, these cars will be available after 20 months

Mahindra is not taking the name of reducing the waiting period on new cars. If you too are thinking of getting Mahindra’s SUV, then you may have to wait for several months. Let us tell you that strong bookings are going on for Mahindra’s two new SUVs SUV700 and Scorpio-N. The company is receiving bookings of 8-9 thousand units every month for both these models. But due to lack of production according to the demand, the waiting period has gone up to 18-20 months.

  • Highest booking of two SUVs

Mahindra has so far received bookings of 1.30 lakh units for both these SUVs. The company says it is trying to meet the demand by ramping up production. Recently, Mahindra & Mahindra had announced that it has registered its highest ever monthly SUV bookings for the month of September this year.

The auto maker said it maintained a strong supply line with highest sales and remained the market leader in SUVs for three consecutive quarters in terms of revenue market share. The company said that Thar, XUV300, XUV700, Bolero and Scorpio-N were the best-selling SUVs with the highest number of bookings.

Mahindra Scorpio-N is on top in terms of bookings. Along with the Scorpio Classic, the total bookings for the Scorpio-N stand at 1.30 lakh units. The Mahindra Scorpio-N was launched earlier this year at a price of Rs 15.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is selling it in petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic gearboxes.

It is also learned that some dealerships are also offering a discount of Rs 60,000 on select Mahindra SUV models. This discount is being given on Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra Marazzo and XUV300. However, there is no discount on Mahindra Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, Thar and XUV700.
