Bangalore scooty viral video Alert: Couple went out for a walk with their child standing on the footrest of the scooter, VIDEO goes viral

In big cities like Bengaluru, people often use scooters or bikes to navigate through traffic congestion. It’s common to witness traffic rules being violated while driving on the road.

However, a recent incident has caught attention, which is quite alarming. In Bengaluru, parents riding a scooter have been spotted traveling with their child standing on the footrest in a dangerously precarious manner.

A video of this incident has gone viral on social media. According to reports, the incident occurred on Whitefield Main Road, Bengaluru. In the video, a woman can be seen riding with a child precariously positioned on the footrest in the rear seat.

Netizens have strongly reacted to this video. One social media user expressed, ‘I am speechless… With 19 people dying every hour due to road accidents in India in 2022, we still witness such carelessness on the roads.’

Another netizen questioned, ‘What has happened to parents these days? Why are they so careless? What if an accident had occurred?’ Yet another user commented, ‘They fail to recognize the value of a child.’

Social media users have urged the Bengaluru Traffic Police to take action in this regard. They emphasized that incidents like these will only lead to a further increase in road accidents in the future.

Statistics reveal that in 2022, there were 4,61,312 road accidents, resulting in 1,68,491 fatalities and 4,43,366 injuries. Among these, individuals not wearing seat belts and helmets are more prone to accidents.

It’s noteworthy that 50,029 two-wheeler riders lost their lives in these accidents due to not wearing helmets. In 2022, the youth were the most affected group in road accidents.

While driving, it’s crucial to adhere to these rules: Avoid driving at high speeds, as it increases the risk of accidents. Slow down near zebra crossings or speed breakers. Respect traffic signals and stop at red lights. Always wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler, and ensure to fasten your seat belt when driving a car.

Furthermore, never drive under the influence of alcohol. Avoid using your phone while driving, as it distracts your attention from the road.
