Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Launch Date: Bajaj Auto has released the first teaser of the soon-to-come Bajaj Pulsar NS400. This bike is scheduled to be launched on May 3, 2024. In the teaser video, the alloy wheels of the bike are visible, which are similar to the recently launched Pulsar N250. The model is likely to feature an underbelly exhaust instead of the unit at the rear. A similar setup is also available in the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200. The NS400 will also feature a thicker rear tire with a single-sided mount rear tire hugger.

Engine and Gearbox

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 may feature a 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is also featured in the Dominar 400. It is expected to generate 40PS power and 35Nm torque. A 6-speed gearbox may be available for transmission, along with a slip and assist clutch. The quickshifter may be exclusive to the top-end variants. This will be the largest engine in any Pulsar model to date.

Hardware and Features

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 may come with USD forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. It is expected to have disc brakes on both wheels, with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) provided as standard. In terms of features, it may include a fully digital instrument cluster, a fully LED lighting system, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Price and Competition

In terms of price, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is expected to be priced around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will directly compete with the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.

New CNG Bike

In addition to this, Bajaj Auto is also preparing a new CNG bike, which is expected to be launched in the first quarter of FY 2025. It is expected to come with a 110-125cc engine. The CNG cylinder may be placed under the long and flat single-piece seat.
