Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 will get major updates, new suspension and new colors

 

Bajaj Pulsar NS Update: Bajaj Auto is about to give a new update to its Pulsar range of bikes soon. The company is likely to offer new upside down (USD) telescopic front forks to the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200. The company has also released the teaser of this new update on its social media handle. Apart from this, the company can also give a new paint scheme with dual channel ABS in both the bikes.

The company is already selling the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 with front USD forks in the international market. Bajaj is offering 33mm USD forks with the bigger 200cc model and 31mm USD forks with the smaller 160cc model. Some similar front forks can be seen in the new Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200.

The company offers the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 in the sporty commuter segment. Both the bikes are one of the sportiest looking models in the market. The Pulsar NS range comes with a sporty design, sporty and aggressive seating position, rear set footrest, perimeter chassis, sharp front and tail section.

The company has made a lot of updates to the engine of the Pulsar NS range over time, but in terms of features, this bike has lagged behind in its segment. In its current edition, the Pulsar NS range of bikes comes with features like semi-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlamp, LED tail light and side stand cutoff switch.

Talking about the price, the price of Pulsar NS 160 starts from Rs 1,25,114 and that of Pulsar NS 200 starts from Rs 1,40,666 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In Pulsar NS 160, the company has given a 160.3 cc single cylinder FI engine which generates power of 17.2 bhp and torque of 14.6 Nm.

At the same time, the Pulsar NS 200 has been given a 199.5 cc single cylinder oil cooled cylinder which gives maximum torque of 18.7 Nm with power of 24.5 bhp. Both the bikes have been given a 6-speed gearbox.
