Bajaj Pulsar Carbon Fiber Edition launched, price starts at Rs 89,254

Bajaj Auto Company has launched the Carbon Fiber Edition of Pulsar 125, which will be available with single-seat and split-seat. At the same time, it has been introduced in two color options Blue and Red.

The single-seat edition costs Rs 89,254 while the split-seat edition costs Rs 91,642 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Black base color has been used in both the options along with graphics on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, shrouds, engine cowl, rear panel and alloy wheel strips. In addition, this edition gets carbon fiber graphics on the belly pan, front fenders, tank and rear cowl. The design, on the other hand, retains the single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, a muscular fuel tank, bolted shrouds and a side-slung exhaust.

In terms of engine, the Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition will get the same 124.4 cc, single-cylinder engine as before, which generates maximum output of 11.64 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 10.80 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

Shock absorption hardware includes telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear springs, while the braking setup includes a 240mm disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 80/100 and 100/90 section front and rear tubeless tires respectively. The ground clearance of Pulsar 125 is 165 mm and curb weight is 142 kg.

Last month, Bajaj Auto saw a decline of 10% in overall sales with 3,95,238 units sold. However, two-wheeler sales grew by 4% to 2,06,131 units in October 2022 as compared to 1,98,738 units in the same month last year.
