Mumbai: Two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has launched the updated version of Pulsar 220F in India. The ex-showroom price of this bike is Rs 1.40 lakh. Its price is Rs 3000 more than the old model. The company had discontinued this semi-fired bike in April-2022. Seeing the demand of the people, the company has relaunched it in the Indian market with some updates.

Engine & Power

Bajaj currently launches only one version of the 220F. The company has also started dispatching the motorcycles. It will soon be available at dealerships across the country. The new Pulsar 220F will compete with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar F250 among others. The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has retained its old look. It also gets clip-on handlebar, split seat and two-piece grab roll at the rear like the older model. The bike is powered by a 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. Which generates power of 20bhp and torque of 18.5Nm. The engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is manufactured meeting the latest RDE norms of BS6 Stage-II.

17 inch alloys in the bike

This bike will also run on E-20. The Pulsar 220F features a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue dial for the tachometer. Apart from this, there is a fuel level indicator, speedometer and a digital screen. It gets telescopic front forks and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. To control the bike, disc brakes are provided at both the ends i.e. front and rear along with single-channel ABS. The bike has 17 inch alloys.
