Bajaj Auto has updated the Platina 110 in the Indian market with ABS technology.
The updated 2023 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS has been priced in India at Rs 72,224, ex-showroom. The company claims that the Platina is the first and only motorcycle in the 110cc segment to get ABS.
Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: Engine and Gearbox
The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is powered by a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 8.4 bhp power at 7,000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Bajaj Platina 110 holds a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters and offers a ground clearance of 200 mm. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch alloy front and rear wheels and can hit a top speed of 90 kmph. It is equipped with halogen headlamps and LED DRLs.
Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: Hardware and Features
The Platina 110 ABS gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. The brakes would be a disc with single-channel anti-lock braking system at the front and a drum system at the rear. In terms of features, it gets a digital instrument cluster. The new digital speedometer gets ABS indicator, gear indicator and gear guidance features.
The new Platina 110 equipped with ABS enhances safety by providing better handling and stability. Also, ABS in the Platina provides complete control in panic-braking situations. ABS will prevent accidents caused by stray animals, sudden potholes on the roads. Platina 110 comes with ABS with padded seats, longer front and rear suspension to make your journey comfortable.
