Maruti Suzuki price increase April 2022: The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki is going to give a big blow to its customers. The company will make the prices of its vehicles expensive this month. During a regulatory filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company reported that the cost of manufacturing the vehicles has gone up. In such a situation, a small part of this huge load will have to be borne by the customers in the form of expensive prices. As of now, no information has been given by the company about the price hike. However, it has been told by the company that the prices will be increased differently on different models.
Maruti cars going to be expensive for the second time in a year
Let us tell you that this will be the second time this year when the company will make the prices of its cars expensive. Earlier this year, Maruti had made the prices of its cars expensive by 1.7 percent. Even at that time, the company had attributed an increase in the cost of manufacturing the vehicles due to the increase in the prices of raw materials. Cars of these companies have become expensive
Earlier, many car companies had increased the prices of their vehicles from April 1. These include Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi.
- Toyota: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has made its entire line-up costlier by 4 per cent with effect from April 1, 2022.
- Mercedes-Benz: Mercedes-Benz India has increased the prices of its entire range by up to 3 per cent with effect from April 1, 2022.
- BMW: The German car company has increased the prices of its vehicles by 3.5 per cent with effect from April 1, 2022.
- Audi: Germany’s leading car maker Audi India has increased the prices of its vehicles by 3 percent from April 1.
