According to the insider public “Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the social network “VKontakte”, AvtoVAZ plans to start assembling another Lada model in the very near future.
AvtoVAZ postponed the resumption of production of Lada Largus almost a week ahead of schedule. Welding and painting of the bodies of these wagons and vans will begin on July 19, and the assembly line will return to work on the 22nd of the same month.
On the first day of production, that is, next Friday, exactly 100 Lada Largus cars are planned to be produced in Togliatti. Further, the volume of their production will be increased to 300 station wagons and vans per day with a one-shift schedule. This will allow AvtoVAZ to launch the last idle conveyor line B0.
Previously, AvtoVAZ provided for the resumption of production of Lada Largus on July 26. Assembly of the Granta model was resumed on June 8, and Lada Niva began to be assembled this week – on July 12. According to the plan, in July all lines should produce more than 14 thousand cars.
AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov confirmed in a recent interview that he could start production of Lada Largus in the near future, but how long it will be able to maintain it is still unknown.
