Auto sector buzzing even after the festive season, vehicles sold fiercely in November

Another one where the whole world is panicked by the sound of recession. On the other hand, the month of November has been good for car companies in India. Alam is that even after the festive season is over, there has been a jump in the sales of auto companies. Be it Hyundai or SKODA, the sales of most of the companies have increased in the month of November. If we look at the sales of the whole year, then the month of November has proved to be very good for the vehicle companies. There has been a jump in the sales of many companies in this month. Let us tell you that the names of many big vehicle companies are included in this, some of them like Hyundai Motor India Ltd, SKODA Auto India, Nissan Motor and MG Motor India have seen huge sales on annual basis.

Hyundai sales jump 36%

Although many car companies have sold a lot in the month of November this year, but we will first tell you about the total sales of vehicles of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL). HMIL has increased by 36 percent to 64,004 units in November 2022 i.e. this month. The company had said in a statement a few days back that they had sold a total of 46,910 vehicles to the dealers in November 2021. HMIL in India reported 37,001 units in November, which has now increased by 30 percent to 48,003 units in November this year as compared to last year. Tarun Garg, director of Hyundai Motor India Company, said that the company is all set to achieve its highest domestic sales in 2022.

Skoda sales up

Let us tell you that like HMIL, there has been a jump in the sales of Skoda Auto India in November this year. Skoda Auto India doubled its sales last month to 4,433 units while the company sold only 2,196 units in the previous year. Petr Salk, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India said in a statement that their annual sales have doubled compared to 2021 and the month of December is yet to come.

Nissan sales up 20 percent

Vehicle company Nissan Motor India’s total wholesale sales stood at 6,746 units with an increase of 20 percent year-on-year. The company had dispatched only 5,605 units to the dealers in November last year. However, its sales in India have come down from 2,651 units in November last year to 2,400 units this year.

MG and KIA are also not behind

Retail sales of vehicle company MG Motor have increased by 64 percent year-on-year to 4,079 units in November. The company had sold 2,481 units in the month of November a year ago. With this, if we talk about the total sales of Kia India, then Kia India has increased by 69 percent to 24,025 units in November 2022. The company said in a statement that in November last year it had sold only 14,214 vehicles.
