Auto companies filled in June, there was a bumper boom in the sale, know how was the condition of which company?

Auto Sales Data 2022: There has been a tremendous jump in the sales of auto companies in the month of June. There has been a bumper jump in the sale of major automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors. There has been a jump in the sales of passenger vehicles in June 2022. Vehicle sales have increased with signs of the semiconductor shortage crisis gradually easing.

Kia and MG also saw a surge in the sale
Apart from this, if we talk about other manufacturers companies like Kia India, MG Motor India and Skoda Auto India, then their sales have also increased compared to last month. These companies have registered strong sales of their vehicles in the market.

How much did Maruti sales increase?
The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India’s total wholesale sales grew by 5.7 percent to 1,55,857 units during June, 2022. The company had dispatched 1,47,368 units to dealers in June 2021. The company’s domestic sales grew by 1.28 per cent to 1,32,024 units from 1,30,348 units in June 2021.

How much did the sale of Hyundai increase?
Apart from this, if we talk about Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), then the total sales of the company increased by 14.5 percent to 62,351 units in June. In the same month last year, it sold a total of 54,474 vehicles. HMIL’s domestic sales rose 21 per cent to 49,001 units last month. The company sold 40,496 units in June 2021.

Semiconductor’s going shortage
HMIL Director Tarun Garg has said that the sales trend has started showing positive again with the signs of the crisis over semiconductor shortage.

How was the condition of Tata Motors?
Tata Motors’ domestic passenger vehicle sales grew 87 per cent to 45,197 units. The company had sold 24,110 vehicles in the same month a year ago. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd said that our SUV portfolio contributed 68 per cent of the sales in the first quarter of FY 2022-23. During this period, the sale of electric vehicles stood at 9,283 units. Achieved a new milestone with highest ever monthly sales of 3,507 units in June 2022.

KIA sales up 60%
Kia India sales grew 60 per cent to 24,024 units in June. This is the company’s highest ever monthly wholesale sales. The manufacturer had dispatched 15,015 units to dealers in June 2021. Skoda Auto India also saw a jump of eight per cent in June 2022 sales at 6,023 units as compared to 734 units sold in the same month last year.

MG sales up 27%
Similarly, retail sales of MG Motor India increased by 27 per cent to 4,503 units in June. The company had sold 3,558 units in the same month last year.

Volkswagen sales doubled
Volkswagen Passenger Cars India sales doubled to 21,588 units in the first half of the year (January-June). It sold 10,843 units in the year-ago period. Ashok Leyland’s total sales grew by 125 per cent to 14,351 units in June. The company sold a total of 6,448 units in June 2021.
