Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “We are happy with our performance in 2022 despite constraints posed by global challenges such as semi-conductor availability, shipment challenges etc. At over 27%, our sales grew across all regions. 2022 was a strong year for our e-tron range. We continue to outperform our own estimates and are driving strong sales of all five electric cars introduced in India. India’s favorite luxury Q – the Audi Q3 made a strong debut in 2022 and we are confident that its success will continue into 2023 and beyond.
Cars such as the Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi A8 L and our RS model continued their strong performance. We already have a strong order bank lined up for early 2023. On the retail front, we have increased the number of our pre-owned (pre-owned) car facilities to 22 by 2022.
