Ather Rizta Electric Scooter photo leaked before launch

The countdown for the launch of Ather Energy’s latest flagship family electric scooter, Rizta, has begun. The company will unveil it at the Community Day event on April 6. Many details regarding Rizta’s features and design have already been leaked, indicating that its launch may overshadow electric models from various companies and even impact sales of ICE models like Honda Activa. For the first time, leaked photos of Rizta have surfaced, directly comparing its design to Activa.

Design and Features of Ather Rizta:

Side profile photos of Ather Rizta have revealed its design. It features a large LED light on the front apron, possibly with an LED face. Alloy wheels equipped with disc brakes ensure safety. The scooter boasts better ground clearance, a two-seater design with a raised seatback, a flat floorboard, and a hook. The rear LED light is round, and it includes a lady footrest. Rizta offers six color options: grey, silver, green, red, black, and white. These leaked photos are based on design renders.

Revealed Features:

Ather Rizzta will include features like a horizontal bar-type headlight, tail lamp, full-LED lighting, a fully digital screen, ride modes, smartphone connectivity, and fast charging. It will ride on 12-inch front and rear wheels with a rear grab rail. While details about the range are yet to be disclosed, it is expected to exceed 150 km. The scooter will feature telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear, with disc brakes at both ends.

Competition and Expectations:

Rizta will compete with models like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 X+ in the Indian market, alongside ICE models like Activa and Jupiter. Its larger seat and floorboard could give it an edge, along with ample storage space under the spacious seat, likely accommodating two helmets and a car charger comfortably. The ex-showroom price is estimated to be around Rs 1.25 to 1.45 lakh, with a launch expected by June.
