Ather Energy manufactured 2 lakh electric scooters

Ather Energy, one of the big companies in the electric two-wheeler market, has achieved the figure of manufacturing two lakh electric scooters. The company’s factory is in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. In this segment the company competes with Ola Electric. Hero MotoCorp has investments in Ather Energy.

It launched its first electric scooter in 2018. earlier this year company Had achieved manufacturing of 50,000 electric scooters. It has two models of electric scooters. over the past few years electric scooters Sales have increased rapidly. Ola Electric, which has the largest share in this market, is preparing for listing in the stock market soon.

Discounts and benefits are being offered on Ather Energy’s 450X and 450S electric two-wheelers. Benefits of up to Rs 24,000 are being given on these electric scooters till the end of this month. This includes a discount of up to Rs 6,500. A financing scheme at 5.99 percent annual interest rate is also available for purchasing these electric scooters. There will be no down payment and the option of EMI of 60 months will be available. Ather Battery Protect is also included in these benefits. Its cost is Rs 7,000. In this, a warranty of five years or 60,000 kilometers is available for the battery of the electric scooter.

The company is preparing to launch a family electric scooter soon. This scooter can be brought next year. It is being tested. Apart from this, the company has also planned to launch a new electric scooter in the 450 series. Recently, the company’s co-founder and CEO, Tarun Mehta had said in a post on X that Ather Energy is preparing to launch a family electric scooter. According to a media report, alloy wheels will be used in this scooter which means that it will have tubeless tyres. Some images of its testing have surfaced. It has disc brake on the front. However, it is not known whether hub-mounted or belt-driven motor will be used in it. Ather’s current scooters have a belt-driven motor.
