Ather Energy launched its new flagship electric scooter Ather 450 Apex in India last month. Recently the company had informed about the soon start of its production and now, the electric scooter has started showcasing in the dealerships. Apart from this, information has also been shared about which cities the 450 Apex will be delivered initially. The deliveries of e-scooter are going to start next week, i.e. in the beginning of March. Ather 450 Apex has been specially launched on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the company. It has a 3.7kWh battery pack, which as per the company’s claim, can give a range of 157 kilometers in a single charge.
Tarun Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy, has informed through a post on X that the Ather 450 Apex is now available at the company’s experience stores for test rides. Mahata has also shared a picture, in which he can be seen standing with the 450 Apex in the dealership. The e-scooter is available for test rides at 50 stores from today.
He has also told that the delivery of Ather 450 Apex will start from next week in Goa, Pune and Bengaluru. At present, information about other cities has not been given, but it is expected that the e-scooter will gradually be delivered to other cities also from March itself.

Talking about the battery of Ather 450 Apex, it has a 3.7kWh battery pack. The company has claimed that its IDC range is up to 157 kilometers. A new regenerative braking system has been used in it. Among the interesting features, the new system can twist the accelerator backwards by 15 degrees to slow down the scooter. This means that without brakes the scooter can slow down. The company has named it Magic Twist feature.
Ather 450 Apex has 7kW peak power. This model is the only model in the lineup to offer Warp+ mode. The company has claimed that the scooter can go from zero to 40 kilometers per hour in just 2.9 seconds. Apart from this, this scooter also has a quick mode in which it can reach a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It is based on the company’s 450 platform. Let us tell you that the company has kept the seat, height, wheelbase, tire size and ground clearance same as 450X. It has a new belt drive system which will also be seen in the upcoming models of the company. This special one comes in indium blue color body panel. The chassis is in bright orange colour.
