ASUS introduced the world’s first 8K monitor with a mini-LED screen

ASUS has released the ProArt PA32KCX monitor, the first model on the market to combine 8K resolution and mini-LED technology. Additionally, the new product offers other features essential for professional use.

The ASUS ProArt PA32KCX features a 32-inch panel with mini-LED backlighting (4096 dimming zones, brightness up to 1200 nits), a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels (275 ppi), and coverage of 97% of the DCI-P3 gamut. The monitor comes with built-in calibration and color profile writeback capabilities, allowing for manual or automatic calibration using the integrated colorimeter.

Asus

Among its other features, the manufacturer emphasizes support for HDR10 and HLG standards, as well as vision protection technologies such as anti-glare coating, flicker reduction, and the ASUS Eye Care+ function package. The monitor also offers a set of new interfaces, including two Thunderbolt ports (USB Type-C) with an output power of up to 96 W.

The sales start date and price for the ASUS professional monitor will be announced later.
