Apple is working on a new power saving mode for its smartwatches. It is expected to arrive in watchOS 9 later this year.
Now the Apple Watch has a Power Reserve mode, which allows the watch to display only the time, and even then when you press a button. The watch offers to activate this mode when the charge drops to 10% and in it the watch does not exchange data with the iPhone.
The new mode will probably not be as economical, but more functional, as it will allow you to use some applications and functions. Which ones exactly have not yet been announced. There is also speculation that the new power saving mode will be exclusive to the new Watch Series 8 model, as it will rely on the hardware component.
Recall that today we also wrote that protected Apple Watch Pro could cost $900-1000.
