Apple Watch Pro to Get Exclusive Bands and faces for extreme sports theme

The Apple Watch Pro is arguably the most anticipated gadget set to debut Wednesday at the iPhone 14 series Far Out launch event. Apple is launching multiple bands to match the smartwatches that also support different watch faces. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Pro will get exclusive bands and watch faces. Meanwhile, in another Apple Watch-related development, the Cupertino-based company is said to be launching a new model that’s said to be “cheaper than the Apple Watch SE.”

The first report comes from Gurman, who tweeted that the Apple Watch Pro will have a new range of bands that will be “pretty broad and themed on extreme sports.” He also says there will be “some pretty info-dense faces for fitness metrics” as well. By dense faces, he might mean watch faces showing various metrics on the home screen. There is no clarity about this.

He goes on to say that the smartwatch will not have “flat sides and they are rounded like the Apple Watch Series 7.” He further claims that there will be a new button on the left side that is programmable. This means you can program that particular button to do a specific task, e.g. B. opening a specific app.

The second development comes from a New York Times report on 9to5mac. Apple will reportedly launch a new Apple Watch model that will be “cheaper than the Apple Watch SE” and “compete more aggressively for young smartwatch customers.” The company apparently wants to build on the growing popularity of parents giving their kids a wearable to “use the devices as a last resort for kids” as “miniature screens mitigate problems like internet addiction.”

“The model will be launched alongside other new versions of the watch, including a high-end wearable for serious athletes that will compete with fitness trackers from competitor Garmin,” the report reads. Both the Apple Watch Pro and this rumored affordable Apple Watch model will reportedly be unveiled on September 7th (Wednesday) along with the Apple Watch Series 8 at the Far Out event, which will also showcase the iPhone 14 series becomes.
