Apple’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook has described India as an incredibly exciting market. He said, India, the world’s largest country in terms of population, is becoming a major market for the company as well as a major production center.
Releasing the company’s second quarter results on Thursday, Cook said, “We have created a record when it comes to business in India.” Double-digit growth year-over-year. Keeping this in mind, we are paying special attention to the Indian market.
Company will increase business
Referring to the India trip, Cook said, first opened an Apple store in Mumbai and then in Delhi. I spent time with the customers, developers and team members there. His enthusiasm was worth watching. Apple is expanding its business in India to reach out to more and more customers.
