Apple is developing a home robot assistant

According to Bloomberg, following the “cancellation” of the branded electric car project, Apple has shifted its focus to developing two new devices. Rumors suggest that the first device will be a smart manipulator equipped with a monitor, capable of following the user and responding to certain on-screen cues. For example, it might “nod” when a person does so during a conversation. The second robot, as per the source, will be designed to perform small household chores. Bloomberg reports that the autonomous systems and safety algorithms for these potential products could be developed within the now-defunct Apple Car division. Further details and a potential announcement date for Apple’s robots remain unknown.

The Exynos 2500 processor will receive two different versions

An insider known as OreXda claims that the flagship Samsung Exynos 2500 mobile platform will come in two different variants. The base model, featuring 8 CPU cores, will be intended for smartphones. It’s speculated that to enhance computing power, the new product might adopt high-performance cores following a “4+4” scheme. A more potent version of the chip, with ten cores, will be targeted for installation in tablets and laptops. Unofficial reports suggest it will also operate at a higher clock speed, up to 3.3 GHz.

Key characteristics of Redmi K80 announced

According to the Gizmochina portal, the upcoming Redmi K80 and K80 Pro series smartphones will feature 2K resolution displays, glass back covers, metal frames, and flagship Snapdragon processors. The presentation of these new devices is anticipated in November 2024, around the same time Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, likely to be featured at least in the higher-end model of the series. The brand has not officially announced the release of these new products, and their pricing remains undisclosed.

If confirmed, the device is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 695 processor, up to 12 GB of RAM, a 64 MP main camera, and a 4800 mAh battery with 44-watt charging support.
