According to Canalys analysts, Apple became the market leader in smartphones in the fourth quarter of last year.
Thanks to the very strong sales of the iPhone 13, the company managed to take 22% of the market, beating Samsung with its 20%. In quantitative terms, the data source does not provide. At the same time, a year earlier, the shares of Apple and Samsung were respectively 23% and 17%, that is, then in relative terms, Apple’s success was even stronger.
Also in the top five were Xiaomi with 12%, Oppo with 9% and Vivo with 8%.
