Apple is bringing low-cost MacBook Pro 2022, but this feature will be removed

Apple can present its entry level model with some changes this year. The new entry-level model will be the MacBook Pro 2022 , according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman , who has also given information about possible features in this upcoming MacBook in his newsletter. Obviously, we are going to see another Apple chip as the company is about to bring Intel chips, but since this is an entry-level model, there will be trade-offs.

Gurman revealed that the new entry-level MacBook Pro will be eligible for the M2 chip. It is the successor to the upcoming M1 on the 2020 MacBook Pro, and will not come with Promotion Display technology and MiniLED.

ProMotion is Apple’s display refresh rate technology in which the device decides the best refresh rate based on content up to 120Hz.

The new entry-level MacBook Pro may come with less storage, less performance and no Touch Bar to make it different from last year’s MacBook Pro.

This feature will not be
available Gurman has told in his newsletter that I expect the new entry-level MacBook Pro to replace the Touch Bar and come like the high-end MacBook Pro, but the big difference will be less display, processor and storage. Also, let us tell you that there will be neither any promotion nor miniLED display in this.

The 2021 MacBook Pro is Apple’s high-performing MacBook Pro, featuring the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Although the M2 will be better than the M1 chip, analysts believe that it will not be as powerful as the M1 Pro or M1 Max, so the performance of the upcoming MacBook Pro may suffer.
