Apple delayed the release of the new MacBook Air Why is not clear

Columnist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that Apple apparently delayed the release of the updated MacBook Air until the end of this year, and will not release new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models until 2023.
Gurman said that Apple originally planned to release the MacBook Air with “an all-new design, MagSafe and M2 chip in late 2021 or early 2022. But now the deadline has shifted to the second half of 2022.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also claims that mass production of the new MacBook Air will begin at the end of the second or beginning of the third quarter, suggesting that the device could be released sometime in September.

According to Gurman, this year’s only MacBook Pro update will likely be the entry-level MacBook Pro with a 13-inch display and an ‌M2‌ chip.
