Apple bashfully removed mentions of scanning all photos of iPhone and iPad users from the site

As expected, this initiative has encountered a huge number of hats on the network. Despite this, the company still intends to continue its development.

Recall that scanning user photos was called necessary to protect children from violence. At the same time, the function also had to be able to determine the fact of sending or receiving images of a frank nature by children. In case something like this happened, the company would notify the parents about it.

And if initially Apple published a message on its website in which it announced its intention to postpone the launch of the function, now both the message itself and any mention of CSAM have disappeared. True, in a conversation with The Verge, the corporation admitted that it had not abandoned plans to introduce the function – it would just happen a little later.
