Apple: Apple stopped selling watches in America due to patent dispute, shows measurement of oxygen in blood

Two versions of Apple’s latest watches, the Series 9 and Ultra 2, will not be available for sale this weekend if the White House does not intervene in an international patent dispute. Apple plans to suspend sales to US customers online from Thursday afternoon and in its stores from Sunday. These watches are equipped with the facility to show the measurement of oxygen in the blood.

After ITC’s decision, a plan was made to stop the sale of watches.

This has led to an intellectual property dispute between Apple and medical technology company Masimo. Following the October decision of the International Trade Commission (ITC) in this regard, Apple has planned to stop the sale of watches.

The White House had 60 days to review the ITC order issued on October 26, meaning Apple can continue selling both affected models in the US through the Christmas period. But the Cupertino, California, company said in a statement that it was suspending sales early to ensure compliance with the ITC order.
