Apple again received record revenue, although iPad sales fell significantly. The company reported for the fourth quarter

Apple has published a report on the results of the fourth quarter of the 2022 financial year, which ended on September 24 for it. Accordingly, the results of the entire financial year were also summed up.

The company’s quarterly revenue rose 8% to $90.1 billion, a record high for the September quarter. Operating income rose from $23.79 billion to $24.89 billion, while net income increased only marginally, from $20.55 billion to $20.72 billion.

According to the results of the entire fiscal year, Apple gained $394.3 billion against $365.8 billion a year earlier. Operating income increased from $108.9 billion to $119.4 billion, net income from $94.68 to $99.8 billion.

iPhone sales for the quarter were $42.6 billion, up from $38.9 billion a year earlier. Mac sales grew from $9.2 billion to $11.5 billion, headphones, watches and other wearable and home electronics grew from $8.79 to $9.65 billion, services grew from $18.28 to $19.19 billion. But iPad sales fell from 8.25 billion to 7.17 billion, which is likely due to a decrease in demand amid the downturn of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the results of the whole year, Apple sold smartphones for 205.5 billion dollars against 191.97 billion a year earlier, that is, sales increased by 7%. Mac PC sales were up 14%, wearables and home electronics were up 7.5%, services were up 14%, and iPad sales were down 8%.
