An enthusiast who previously tested Genshin Impact on a GeForce RTX 4090 at 7K resolution went further in his experiments: he increased the resolution to 13K (13760 x 5760 pixels) to see how the graphics card can handle such a load. And she did it!
If, at a resolution of 7K, the GeForce RTX 4090 allowed playing Genshin Impact with a frame rate of about 100 FPS, then at a resolution of 13K, the frame rate, of course, turned out to be lower – it dropped to 30 FPS (at maximum settings). But you can still play it.
The experiment was carried out on a PC with the following configuration:
- Intel Core i7-10700KF;
- Asus Prime Z490-P;
- Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 64 GB;
- MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING X TRIO 24G;
- Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2 TB.
In the video, the user admires the detail (on zoomed objects), and takes a screenshot to demonstrate the resolution of the graphic file. It naturally amounted to 80 megapixels, and the file size was 86 MB. It is important to note that at all maximum settings, DLSS technology was not used.
