Garmin has unveiled a re-release of the Epix smartwatch, which debuted back in 2015. The new Garmin Epix (Gen 2) is a high-end, state-of-the-art device.
The watch received a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen with an always-on mode with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Sapphire glass or Corning Gorilla Glass DX is used to protect the screen, and the watch frame is either titanium or steel, depending on the variation chosen.
They are able to monitor various health indicators 24/7, including heart rate, respiration, stress levels, sleep quality. Provides support for GPS, Galileo and GLONASS, Bluetooth, ANT +, Wi-Fi, Garmin Pay payment system, as well as water protection (10 ATM). The battery life in smartwatch mode is 16 days, with GPS enabled – 42 hours. The watch can be paired with iPhone and Android smartphones.
The Garmin Epix is already on sale in steel for $900 and titanium with sapphire crystal for $1,000.
