AMD has quietly adjusted the parameters of the Ryzen 7040HS mobile processors by lowering the frequency of their integrated graphics core.
For all APUs, the iGPU frequency has been reduced by 200 MHz, that is, for the Ryzen 9 7940HS, Ryzen 7 7840HS and Ryzen 5 7640HS, it is now 2.8, 2.7 and 2.6 GHz, respectively.
At the same time, interestingly, the Ryzen 7040H with the closest characteristics did not have any such changes, so the flagship Ryzen 9 7940H still boasts an impressive iGPU frequency of 3 GHz.
Notebooks based on the new APUs should appear on sale in March, that is, perhaps the first models will appear in the coming days.
