If at the beginning of the year Ryzen 5000 processors were in short supply (at least some models), now there are no special problems with their purchase. What’s more, the Ryzen 5000 keeps getting cheaper. Moreover, this is the second price cut in a month: the first happened in November after the release of competing Intel Alder Lake CPUs, the second – now, on the eve of Black Friday.
So, the flagship Ryzen 9 5950X has dropped by $ 100 – up to $ 700. The 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X has dropped $ 80 from its price tag and is now on offer in the US for $ 470. The 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X fell the most – by $ 150. As a result, its price dropped to $ 300. The 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X is only $ 20 cheaper and can be purchased in the US for $ 280.
Together with the Ryzen 5000 CPU, the Ryzen 5000G APUs also fell in price. For example, the Ryzen 7 5700G is down $ 80 (to $ 280), while the 6-core Ryzen 5 5600G is down $ 200 (minus $ 60).
AMD’s Threadripper Pro processors are also available, with the 64-core 3995X down $ 90, the 32-core 3975WX by $ 150, and the 16-core 3955WX by $ 50.
