AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.2.3 Driver with Elden Ring Support and Improvements for Shadow Warrior 3 and GRID Legends

AMD has released the Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.2.3 graphics driver . In it, the developers implemented support for the action role-playing game Elden Ring , released on February 25, and also made some improvements for Shadow Warrior 3 and GRID Legends.

Improvements for Shadow Warrior 3:

  • Up to 5% performance improvement when gaming at 4K resolution and high settings on the Radeon RX 6900XT compared to the previous graphics driver version;
  • Up to 5% performance improvement when gaming at 4K resolution and high settings on the Radeon RX 6800XT compared to the previous graphics driver version;
  • Up to 6% performance improvement when gaming at 4K resolution and high settings on the Radeon RX 6700XT compared to the previous graphics driver version.

Improvements for GRID Legends:

  • Up to 7% performance improvement when gaming at 4K Ultra settings on the Radeon RX 6900XT compared to the previous graphics driver version.
  • Up to 8% performance improvement when gaming at 4K Ultra settings on the Radeon RX 6800XT compared to the previous graphics driver version.
  • Up to 15% performance improvement when gaming at 4K resolution and Ultra settings on the Radeon RX 6700XT compared to the previous graphics driver version.

Along with this, the developers have published a list of known issues, fixes for which will be included in future versions of the Adrenalin driver:

  • no Aero effect (window transparency) in Windows 10;
  • lighting issues in Cyberpunk 2077 (some areas look too dark) that can occur with some AMD graphics cards (for example, the Radeon RX 570);
  • Freezing and slow performance in God of War on PCs with AMD graphics cards (e.g. Radeon RX 6900XT)
  • the appearance of a black screen after activating the Enhanced Sync function;
  • The AMD Radeon Software utility may display incorrect video memory frequencies in some cases.
