Company AMD keeps the promise and reveals more details about Zen 4c cores in some of its mobile APUs.
Remember, these cores technically differ from Zen 4 only in size, but also operate at lower frequencies. This is the frequency that AMD has never indicated before. Only now this information has been revealed.
So, in Ryzen 5 8500G younger cores operate at frequencies 3,2-3,7 GHz versus 4,1-5,0 GHz for Zen 4. In Ryzen 3 8300G we are talking about frequencies 3,2-3,6 GHz.
Thus, the Ryzen 5 8500G should be somewhat slower than the Ryzen 5 8600G, which does not contain Zen 4c cores, that is, all its cores operate at frequencies of 4,3-5,0 GHz. However, the number of cores in these two APUs is identical.
