AMD and TCS Partner to Build Helios AI Data Centre Architecture, Unveil 200MW AI-Ready Blueprint

AMD and TCS expand their partnership to co-develop the Helios rack-scale AI data centre architecture. The collaboration will deliver a scalable 200MW AI-ready data centre blueprint powered by AMD Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have announced an expanded strategic collaboration to co-develop a next-generation rack-scale AI data centre architecture based on AMD’s Helios platform. The new system will integrate AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs, EPYC “Venice” CPUs, Pensando Vulcano NICs, and the open ROCm software ecosystem to support demanding AI, machine learning, analytics, and scientific workloads.

As part of the partnership, the companies will also introduce a 200MW AI-ready data centre blueprint designed for hyperscalers, enterprises, and sovereign AI initiatives. TCS will handle system integration, deployment, and management services, enabling organisations to build scalable, high-performance compute infrastructure tailored to next-generation workloads while accelerating data centre expansion in India.
