March 2024 proved to be a highly successful month for TVS, as the two-wheeler company achieved its highest sales ever in the last financial year. Over 300,000 bikes were sold by the company in March 2024.

TVS Motor Company announced a remarkable growth of 12 percent, with sales figures rising from 317,152 units in March 2023 to 354,592 units in March 2024. Two-wheeler sales witnessed a 12 percent increase from 307,559 units in March 2023 to 344,446 units in March 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales also surged by 8 percent, rising from 240,780 units in March 2023 to 260,532 units in March 2024.

Motorcycle sales saw a significant growth of 22 percent, climbing from 141,250 units in March 2023 to 171,611 units in March 2024. Scooter sales experienced a modest 2 percent growth, from 128,817 units in March 2023 to 131,472 units in March 2024.

Increased Demand for TVS iQube

TVS’s iQube emerged as one of the most successful electric scooters in the Indian market, achieving its highest vehicle retail in March 2024. Electric vehicle sales totaled 15,250 units in March 2024, slightly lower than the 15,364 units sold in March 2023.

23 Percent Rise in Exports

TVS Motor Company’s international business also flourished, with total exports witnessing a significant growth of 23 percent. Sales surged from 75,037 units in March 2023 to 91,972 units in March 2024. Additionally, a 26 percent increase was recorded in two-wheeler exports, rising from 66,779 units in March 2023 to 83,914 units in March 2024.

TVS recently announced its entry into the French market in partnership with Emil Frey, a century-old company highly regarded in Europe.
