A website has emerged on the internet, displaying the real-time locations of all SpaceX satellites. Starlink represents the world’s most advanced satellite internet technology, capable of transmitting terabytes of data to any location on Earth. The network of satellites was made possible by the introduction of reusable launch vehicles.
The company has unveiled an interactive website that showcases a virtual version of Earth with all the vehicles launched into space. Clicking on a specific satellite allows users to view its trajectory.
The portal also presents the total capacity of the Starlink network. At the time of writing this news, the constellation comprises 5,601 orbitals. As of March 2024, the company serves more than 2.6 million customers, spanning various commercial and government sectors worldwide.
The total data transfer speed reaches 188,160 MB/s. Additionally, SpaceX leads both public and private companies in terms of the scale of spacecraft deployment. For example, in 2023, Starlink satellites accounted for 50% of all global space launch attempts.
