Apple’s flagship wireless noise-cancelling headphones AirPods Pro 2 went on sale last Friday, and now early adopters are reporting problems.
According to reviews, AirPods Pro 2 may turn off when used with an iPhone or iPad. The reason for this behavior of the headphones has not yet been clarified. There are suggestions that the reason is in the firmware of the headset. The current AirPods Pro 2 firmware version is 5A377. Others believe that this is another iOS 16 bug.
Hardware problems cannot be ruled out, but given that the AirPods Pro 2 is an improved version of the original AirPods Pro, which is a fairly mature product, the likelihood of hardware problems is low.
The biggest update to the AirPods Pro 2 is Apple’s H2 chip, which enhances the noise canceling feature and also supports adaptive transparency mode, achieved through 48,000 calculations per second.
The headphones also received a speaker on the charging case, which, according to the first review by Wylsacom, does not work for some reason.
