Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications under the government’s Agneepath Recruitment Scheme (Airforce Agniveer Recruitment 2023). As per the notification, the registrations for Agniveervayu will start from March 17, 2023 and the last date to apply is March 31, 2023. The applications are invited only for unmarried Indian male and female candidates.

Required Educational Qualification for IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023
Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from the Board of Education or passed three years Diploma Course in Engineering or two years vocational course with non vocational subjects. IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification
The test will be of 60 minutes and will consist of English, Physics and Mathematics as per CBSE Class 10 and 12 syllabus. Apart from Science subjects, the total duration of the exam will be 45 minutes and will consist of English as per CBSE 10 Plus 2 syllabus and Reasoning-General Awareness.

The applying candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.250/- while registering for the online examination. The Examination Fee can be paid through Payment Gateway by using Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking or by Challan in any branch of Axis Bank.

Selection Process IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023
The exam will be conducted in three phases – Phase 1 is Written Test, Phase 2 is Physical Efficiency Test and Phase 3 is Medical Examination. Candidates are advised to go through all the details of each stage carefully.

On the home page, aspirants can click on the Agneepath tab and then click on the online application link /Indian Air Force website. They have to register and then fill all the required details. Once registered, they have to upload the documents and pay the application fee (if required). After completing the process, they have to print a copy of the application form for future reference.

The notification states that those shortlisted under Agniveer Vayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force for a period of four years.
Agniveer Vayu will make a separate rank in the IAF. On completion of four years of service, IAF will retain some candidates depending on the requirements of the organization. Up to 25 per cent of each specific batch of Agniveer Vayu will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Indian Air Force.
Firefighters who are released from service after four years will be given preference in public sector undertakings and jobs in the public sector.
The Indian Air Force will create a separate rank in the Indian Army, ‘Agnivar’, which will be different from any other existing rank. ,
