Stock Market Update: Good buying has been seen in the stock market on the second trading day of the week. Markets have recovered after yesterday’s fall. Both the BSE Sensex and Nifty indices have closed in the green. After today’s trading, the Sensex closed at the level of 57,356.61 with a gain of 776.72 points or 1.37 percent. At the same time, the Nifty index closed at the level of 17,200.80 with a gain of 246.85 points or 1.46 percent.
Top Gainer and Loser Stocks
Out of the top-30 stocks of the Sensex, 5 stocks have closed in the red mark. Apart from this, 25 stocks have seen a rise. Power Grid has been the top gainer after today’s business. Shares of Power Grid closed at the level of 232 with a gain of 4.19 percent. Apart from this, Axis Bank has been the top loser of today. Shares of Axis Bank slipped 0.72 percent and closed at 775 level.

Apart from Power Grid, Titan, M&M, Reliance, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, LT, SBI, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, HUL, ITC, Nestle India, Infosys, Dr Reddy’s, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, Ultra Chemical, Kotak Bank, Shares of NTPC, HDFC, HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and ICICI Bank closed in the green.
Shares closing in red mark
Apart from this, TCS, Maruti and Asian Paints, including Axis Bank, have been in the list of stocks closing in the red mark.
Sectoral index rises
Talking about the sectoral index, today all the sectors have closed in the green mark. Nifty Bank, Nifty Auto, Financial Services, FMCG, IT, Media, Metal, Pharma, PSU Bank, Private Bank, Realty, Healthcare, Consumer Durable and Oil & Gas sectors have all seen good buying.
