Price hiked up to 1.3 percent

After many big automakers in April, now the country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has also announced to increase the prices of its cars. The company has announced an increase in the price from Monday, April 18, 2022, citing the increase in the cost price. In its regulatory filing, Maruti Suzuki has given information about increasing the prices of all cars by 1.3 percent. The company said that a small part of the increase in cost price is being given to the customers.

Mahindra’s car prices also increased

Along with automakers like Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra Automotive has also increased the prices of their cars by Rs 10,000 to 63,000. This increase has been done with different models and variants. Mahindra has also cited the increase in cost price on the lines of other companies as the biggest reason for increasing the prices of cars. The company says that the company has taken this decision after increasing the prices of steel, aluminum, palladium and many other things in the market.
