Once upon a time MSI had a line of strong overclockers and relatively inexpensive motherboards MPower (the last models came out about 7 years ago), and here now the company, judging by everything, decided to revive the line – introduced MSI Z790MPower.
The novelty is compatible with processors Intel Core 12, 13 and 14 generations. The power subsystem is serious – 15 phase and two eight-pin connectors. Zone VRM is covered with radiators, a separate radiator is provided for SSD. The inscriptions on the radiators and the texts Overclock, Frequency, MHz, Voltages and Clock give a clear understanding of what this model is intended for.
Slots for modules RAM only two, but this is only because the emphasis is made on compatibility with top-plans DIMMs: MSI Z790MPower supports modules DDR5-8000+. Also supported are modules with a volume of 64 GB, so that you can select up to 128 GB of RAM. True, this will be expensive.
MSI Z790MPower received two slots for installation SSD M.2, four ports SATA 6 Gbit/s, one slot PCIe 5.0 x16 and two PCIe 4.0 x4. Also envisaged is the module, which realizes wireless communication Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Wired network – 2.5 Gbit/s.
Cost of the novelty – 200-230 dollars depending on the region. And this makes the MSI Z790MPower one of the most available models with support for serious overclocking memory.
