Acer on Monday introduced the ebii, a lightweight e-bike and claims to offer a range of 70 miles (about 112 km) on a single charge. At present, the company has not given information about its price and availability. Also, it is not known in which markets it will be launched in the future.

The bike can be fully charged in under 2.5 hours and interestingly, the power adapter can also be used to charge your laptop or phone.
For ebii, the company has also developed a dedicated ebiiGO app, which gives the rider details like battery usage, suggested route and speed check etc. The e-bike can also be locked and unlocked through the app. If the smartphone paired with the e-bike is not near the bike, the bike can also lock itself. ebii also comes equipped with an anti-theft alarm, which is an extra layer of security.
Talking about some of the other features of the ebii, it includes collision detection sensors and airless tyres.
