Today, Honor unveiled the flagship models Magic5 and Magic5 Pro, and today DxOMark published a large review of the Magic5 Pro camera. It turned out that this camera is better than the iPhone 14 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and even the previous leader Huawei Mate 50 Pro: from today, Honor 50 Pro topped the DxOMark camera phone rating.
In the composite camera ranking, the Honor Magic5 Pro scores 152 points – 3 points more than the previous leader Mate 50 Pro and 6 points more than the iPhone 14 Pro.
The Honor Magic5 Pro camera is the absolute best in the photo, zoom and bokeh categories, with a slightly worse result in the video category (144 points out of 149).
There are practically no negatives in the conclusion of DxOMark experts. More precisely, the minuses are only at, and they are insignificant: sometimes there is an unnatural rendering of details in the images, shutter delays occur in high-contrast lighting conditions, the display contrast may decrease when the HDR shooting mode is activated. And then – only pluses: they praise the accuracy of skin tones, detail, fast and accurate autofocus, zoom and shooting quality in low light conditions.
