Abu Dhabi Airports to Launch Electric Flying Taxi to Quickly Take Travelers to Address

Abu Dhabi Airports has signed a memorandum of understanding with leading French firm Groupe ADP to roll out a new air transport concept that uses electric VTOL aircraft to transport people and cargo.

Abu Dhabi Airports and Groupe ADP will jointly explore the potential and design of future electric vehicles with vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) for the transport of passengers and cargo, as well as the creation of related infrastructure.

Groupe ADP is one of the few airport operators that is present in all aspects of the airport value chain, from pre-design studies, master planning and engineering, to the commissioning and operation of complex infrastructure (terminals, runways, baggage sorting, etc.). Further).
