Aadhar Card Update: If you don’t like the photo in Aadhar card, do ‘Asa’ update, the process is very easy

New Delhi: Aadhar Updates : Aadhar Card is an important document for every person living in India. If there is no Aadhaar card, it can be difficult for children from school admission to getting a job, from opening a bank account to buying a house. Aadhaar card contains details like your name, date of birth, address and Aadhaar number. Your biometric data is also available on Aadhaar card. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar number issuing body, periodically asks Aadhaar card users to update all information including mobile number. In such case if you don’t like the photo on Aadhar Card, you can change it. For this some tips have to be followed.

Many people do not like the photo in their Aadhaar card. Thus, the process can be easily updated in Aadhaar card. As there is no online process to change the photo in Aadhaar card, you can go to the nearest Aadhaar center and complete the process. Follow this process to change photo in Aadhaar card.

For this first you need to login to UIDAI website uidai.gov.in and download Aadhaar Enrollment Form. Fill this Aadhaar Enrollment Form and submit it at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center. Now the employee will take your biometric details at the Aadhaar Enrollment Center. After that the Aadhaar Enrollment Center staff will click your photo. The Aadhaar Enrollment Center staff will update the photo in your Aadhaar card for a fee. The Aadhaar Enrollment Center staff will also give you a slip along with the URN. You can use this URN to check if your Aadhaar card photo has been changed or not. After updating the Aadhaar card photo, the updated Aadhaar card with the new photo can be easily downloaded from the UIDAI website.
